PRO BASICS CLASS FOR NEW PRO TEAMS
Part of the launch process for new PRO Teams is to hold a PRO Basics class for all the members. These PRO Basics classes are open to any member of PRO and guests who are considering membership in PRO. The PRO Basics class is a requirement for all new members of the organization, and is also offered on the second Monday of each month. A schedule of these special PRO Basics class for new PRO Teams is below. Attendees who are not a member of the new PRO Team hosting the PRO Basics class MUST register, as space may be limited. PRO BASICS CLASS AND ADVANCED TRAINING
As one of the member benefits of PRO, we offer monthly training classes. The second Monday of each month, we offer the PRO Basics class from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. This class is open to both members and prospective members. We introduce the PRO methodology of developing successful strategic partnerships, including a review and explanation of each PRO Team meeting agenda item, what to do between meetings, and the "Power of One" philosophy to create successful strategic alliances. From 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM we cover a variety of different advanced topics which include: How and Why to Develop a Personal Brand, Advanced Relationship Marketing, How to Network Effectively at Association Events, How to Leverage Your Membership on a Team, Developing the Strategic Partnership, and How to Grow Your PRO Team. PRO FOUNDER FEATURED SPEAKER AT "CAREER PROSPECTORS"
PRO Founder and Business Relationship Coach, Mike Short, was one of the featured speaker at a recent job meeting held by Career Prospectors. Mike's presentation was designed to job seekers on how to successfully network to find their next career opportunity. Mike has also been a featured presenter for events such as the Retail Merchants Association's "First Friday Forum," the Greater Richmond Chamber's "HYPE" group, Hokies Helping Hokies job fair, and the Third Friday Forum" luncheon series. Mike has also been the featured guest on "On Track With Vanessa Womack," heard weekly on WLEE radio in Richmond, VA. Regional EventsWEST END NETWORKING SOCIALS
PRO Teams sponsor two monthly Networking Socials. One takes place the second Monday of each month at the Beach House Bar and Grill in Innsbrook, and the other takes place on the fourth Monday of each month at the Cafe Caturra on Pump Road. SOUTHSIDE MONTHLY SOCIAL / NETWORKING
Three of our Southside Teams host a monthly social on the first Wednesday of each month. These monthly events are held at the Capital Ale House in Midlothian from 5:30 - 7:30 PM immediately following the regular meeting of our Capital Gains Team. Capital Ale House is located at 13831 Village Place Drive, Midlothian, VA 23114. AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION HEART WALK, 2010
PRO is supporting the American Heart Association's annual Heart Walk. Each PRO Team has the chance to participate, and throughout the next several months we will be holding networking social events where we will recognize those who have managed to raise the most donations for the AHA. Many of these events will be open to both members of PRO and guests, so check back frequently for a list of events associated with this years Heart Walk. SOCIAL MEDIA
If you utilize social media sites such as FaceBook, Meetup.com, or Twitter you can stay up to date with what's going on with PRO. On Facebook, you can find our page by searching for "PRO" then clicking the tab that says "Pages." We are generally on the first page about half way down ... just look for our logo. On Twitter, you can follow Mike Short, the founder of PRO by finding him as "PRO_Founder" (which is also his name on Skype), and we have a group on Meetup.com called "Richmond VA Business Networking." Not sure about all this internet based social media stuff? That's okay, we still use email and the old fashioned telephone too.
